Another year has come and gone, and that means it is time for another best of album! This past year saw me opt for a change of scenery following a wonderful decade at my previous home. Although the move wasn't a big one, moving a few miles south in the Timbavati has made for a delightful change - not only in terms of animals and landscapes, but also for me personally (like meeting the lady that makes me smile ever day). I have been able to enjoy my guiding thanks to the freedom offered, and as a result, it has also resulted in some special sightings and a few unique photographic opportunities.

It would be difficult to nail down a single highlight of the year, but it was a period that included some fantastic moments - from seeing my first black rhino in almost a decade, to seeing a mother leopard carrying her new born cubs; male lions killing hyenas to a leopard killing a warthog right next to my vehicle, and all sorts of animals - young and old - in between!

The following is a selection the 25 best images I captured during the course of 2018 (out of some 22,000 images!)...I hope you enjoy them, and as always, thanks to each and every one of you for the constant positive feedback, the likes, the shares and the messages...i know that i am terrible in responding to the posts, but do know that i read them all!

Here is to hoping that 2019 will be an even better year!
