Colin's Wise Wednesday - 28th November 2018

Another week has come and gone and here we are together again to share a few minutes together in God’s presence.

What do I believe? Why do I believe?

When I heard this song recently on LM radio (did you know it still exists?) it made me reflect on my belief system. As I said in one of our previous devotions I don’t always understand why such horrific things happen in this world but I believe in God with all my heart mind and soul.

This song by Frankie Laine made me become conscious of other reasons why I believe:

“I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows…
I believe for everyone that goes astray
Someone will come to show the way
I believe
I believe
I believe above the storm the smallest prayer
Will still be heard
I believe that someone in the great somewhere
Hears every word
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry
Or touch a leaf
Or see the sky
Then I know why
I believe
I believe (Why I believe)”

Let us pray: Loving Father as the lyrics of the chorus goes “You're a good good Father. It's who You are and I'm loved by You”. That’s another reason I believe because I am loved by You in spite of who or what I am. In Jesus name I pray with so much love and so much thanksgiving. Amen.

Until next week take care and God bless.~Colin
