The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to humanity. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.   John 1 : 4 - 5

Our Ministers

We thank You, Lord, for every person who has accepted your call to serve in full time ministry. The one You have placed in charge of this church and community follows Your faithful instructions. Bless him Lord, and his family, as they seek to bring Your message of love and care to the members of this congregation. You have called him Lord, and bless him as he serves You each day, bringing love, hope and Your message to many people. Guide and help him as he follows Your instructions and Your way throughout his life.

Bless and help each person who gathers in this place to worship You and to listen to the message that is brought. You established this place Lord, where Your people can gather together to worship You in Word and Song. Bless us Lord, and we live to serve as You desire us to. There are many ministries Lord, and we thank You for each one who has volunteered their service to help spread Your Word and Your love to many. We thank You for the establishment of this church and for all who attend and take part in the service and the work that needs to be done.

Church Leaders

You have called many men and women to stand as leaders in this community Lord. We pray for Your hand of leading and blessing to touch each one. Guide them in the task You have given them to lead, Lord, and help them as they teach and guide others to grow in their faith walk. Bless all who lead in any of the activities that are offered in the life of this church.

South Africa

Lord, we bring our land and people before You, praying that You will guide those who lead and enable them to serve our land and people with ability and faithfulness. We pray for the doctors and nurses who serve in the hospitals and clinics all across our land, offering help to the poor and needy. Bless all who come seeking help for their condition, that they may find help where they seek it. We pray for our farmers, and all those who work on the land to supply crops to sustain us. May Your hand of protection be with the farmers Lord, as they face those who would harm them. Bless those who serve in Government, both National and Local, as they serve the people of our country. God, bless South Africa, and all her people. May we faithfully serve You!

The Needy

There are many in need this day, dear Lord, and we bring them before You now, asking for Your help and healing for the issues that they face. Not all is physical illness Lord, but many are facing emotional issues, or weakness due to age related issues. Bless and help all we name before You. Thank You!

Monday 8th July               Jeremiah 15: 16

God speaks!   Jeremiah heard God speaking to him and he listened to the message that God gave. He accepted God’s words and rejoiced over them for His words filled his heart with joy and happiness. When God speaks we must listen intently for the message He speaks is one of love, joy and acceptance. We belong to God, our Father, and like any father He teaches and instructs us in the way He wants us to live. God does not always chastise but guides us on His closer way, to live a faithful and loyal life. As we hear God’s instructions and follow them we are blessed and also assured of God’s guidance and help as we live each day as His own. Rejoice in the Grace of our Father God. He has good plans for us, His Children, plans of a wonderful future in His loving care. Give God thanks and praise for His loving kindness to us, His own!

Tuesday 9th July                 Ephesians 3: 17 - 18

A prayer for others!Paul prayed, “I pray that Christ will make His home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that, together with all God’s people, you may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep is Christ’s love.” To know Him is to love Him. We are filled with His extravagant love, so that we might have the same love for Him and all people. God pours His abundant love into our hearts, so that there may be overflow to others. As we love others as Christ loves us, so our lives become full of loving kindness and good deeds that honour our Lord and our God. God fills our hearts to overflowing with love for Him, for Christ, for Holy Spirit, and all who we meet and interact with. Love flows from God into our hearts and from there to all we meet. Let us love one another as God loves us! Selah!

Wednesday 10th July         Matthew 27: 31

The Temple curtain! The Temple dedicated to the Lord Almighty was a magnificent sight. It was built to God’s instructions as the place where He was to be worshipped forever. The inner chamber was protected by a curtain hanging from the roof and reaching the floor, to prevent anyone from entering the most holy place, where God was worshipped. At the moment of Christ’s death the curtain was torn from top to bottom, symbolising that from now on all who believe that Jesus Christ is the True and Only Son of God, can have access to the Lord of Lords. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God Almighty. All barriers have been removed. God is accessible to all mankind. Come before God Almighty and offer yourself anew to Him. Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He is God of all, Lord and Saviour of mankind. Praise and bless the Lord!

Thursday 11th July             Romans 5: 1 -11

Put right with God!We have been put right with God through faith and trust in His beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have found peace with God as well as experiencing His loving Grace. Through our endurance we find God’s approval and hope in a future in His loving care. God’s love is poured out in generous measure into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Thus we experience God, the Father, God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit in full measure as we are put right with Him through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. God’s gift of the life of His Son on our behalf has changed our hopeless situation to one full of peace, joy and glory. Our souls are safe forever because of the sacrifice of Jesus, our Lord. We are able to come to God, acceptable in every way, in right standing with our Father, God Almighty, our everlastingfriend.

Friday 12th July             Psalm 95: 1 - 7

Praise the Lord!So often we are wrapped up in our needs and wants that we forget to praise our God. We continually ask Him to bless our living, and being the gracious, loving God that He is, He does so in abundant measure. Today let us forgo asking God for our wants, and turn to Him to praise Him and give Him thanks for His abundant loving kindness and care. Let us acknowledge how great and mighty He is, Creator of all that was, is and is to come. He has made us in His own image and has placed a longing in our hearts that can only be satisfied by His loving touch. Once we know God and worship Him as our Father and Lord we begin to know how great, kind and caring God is to all of His creation. We come Lord, to praise and thank You and to offer our lives to You. We worship and honour You. O Lord our God!

Saturday 13th July              Isaiah 54: 9 - 10

God loves us!These promises of God in Isaiah touch us deeply. He says that He will not be angry with us again; He will not reprimand or punish us and His love for us will never end. God also promises to keep His peace forever. God loves us! How can we doubt our God? We come to worship and honour Him; to praise His Holy Name, and to offer ourselves in service for Him. We have found out for ourselves how loving, kind, and caring our God is and how He takes care of us every day. We come humbly before Him, seeking His presence, His guidance, His will and His blessings. He gives us all we need to be a faithful servant to Him. We find ourselves in this loving relationship between God, our Father, and ourselves. We worship and honour Ham each day, seeking to grow in our relationship with Him and in knowledge of His perfect will for our lives. Praise the Lord!

Sunday 14th July

Bless the Lord, O my soul. Let all that is within me praise His Holy Name. Lord, we rejoice to come into Your presence, to bring our prayers of love and adoration. You are our beloved Lord, and we worship and praise You in our offering ourselves to serve You in whatever way You require. We come to praise You, Lord, and to sing songs that worship You and extol Your majesty. Blessed is the Lord of All, Holy is He and worthy of all our praise. Lord, You care for us every minute of our lives, yet so often we don’t acknowledge You and all that You do for us. We honour You now Lord, wanting to sing praises to You. We love You Lord, and desire to know Your will for every part of our lives. Teach us Lord, to grow in faithfulness and to honour You through all that we think, say or do. Blessed is our God, Father Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Also we give thanks for the Holy Spirit of God who lives within us and guides our thoughts and our living, so that we can remain faithful to our Lord and our God. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Hallelujah!
